Blog Olympics - Sticking on the Post
Apparently there’s a Blog Olympics going on — basically just a big game of tag, where everyone has seven hands. Or maybe it’s more like a virus. In any case, the Box of Meat was tagged by Word to the Wise, who was tagged by EmailKarma, who was tagged by BeRelevant, who was tagged by Communicatiemannen in Belgium, who may have been tagged by I-On Media. That’s where the trail runs cold; I couldn’t find patient zero.
Laura interpreted the rules thusly: “…I am supposed to pick 7 blogs I read and tag them forward. The rules also state that I have to link back to the blog that passed on the stick to me but I cannot add it to the list of my favorite 7 blogs.”
My favorites vary dramatically depending on what I’m doing, so I’ll list the seven I read which most often lead to deep thoughts beyond (yet still related to) email and spam. They’re in alphabetical order.
- A VC, by Fred Wilson
- Feld Thoughts, by Brad Feld
- Fergie’s Tech Blog, by Paul Ferguson
- Give Me Something To Read, which contains the most popular articles from InstaPaper, which is probably the only collaborative bookmarking service that’s big enough to be interesting yet (somehow) doesn’t suck yet
- Joho the Blog, by David Weinberger
- Security Fix at the Washington Post, by Brian Krebs
- and of course Seth’s Blog, by Seth Godin
I highly recommend all of them. -J.D.
