“Those who click through to see the photos are asked to register for the site and fill out personal information, from birth dates to phone numbers — even their e-mail password. Even if people back out of the registration, the site grabs their address books and sends the same invitation to whoever is on the list. Often, there are no photos, and the person who the e-mail appears to come from is clueless it has been sent to a relative, friend, colleague, boss or acquaintance.”
